Production notes by Elbowski:

As said the missions in 'Supernauts' were set on a number of different locations (continents) and the audio design called for songs with musical / cultural references to these locations. However as a preceding development milestone some 'all purpose' action music was written just to have something playing over all missions. This piece is one of those.

Whereas the in-game version used sample-based guitars, for this album version guitar parts were played by Roope Kangas, Grand Cru's lead server / backend developer at the time.

Them agile coder fingers sure are great for guitar too! ;)
